Revelling in a box-seat position for a quintessential Surry Hills way of life, this elegant Victorian terrace was in need of a major face lift. The interiors were dated and the building itself was showing its age. The client wanted to transform this tired terrace into a contemporary modern home that respected all of its original features.
Brief Project Description
Internally the project included the restoration of the original timber floors/ceilings & walls. A new LED lighting layout was incorporated throughout. Feature pendant lights by designer Marcel Wanders were installed in the main living & dining rooms. A contemporary colour scheme was chosen to highlight the original features, creating a light and spacious aesthetic.
Externally the existing balcony & railing was carefully restored and a contrasting colour scheme of grey and white applied, to modernise the façade of the building.
